A UK ticket-holder has become one of three winners to share a jackpot of £138m in Friday’s EuroMillions draw. The £46.2m win makes the lucky Brit richer than singer Sam Smith, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. The other two winners bought tickets in France and Switzerland.
If the British winner chooses to go public, their ticket must first be validated. Last year’s largest win was £195m by an anonymous ticket-holder. Six UK ticket-holders won the EuroMillions jackpot in 2022, with total prizes exceeding £820m.
