Simone Biles got married to Jonathan Owens in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in an elaborate ceremony that featured multiple dresses designed by Galia Lahav. Biles' wedding dress included a high slit to make her appear taller, which was a crucial feature for her.
She was apprehensive about wearing a ballgown due to her small stature, but the Galia Lahav team assured her that it would work with a corseted bodice and a high slit. Biles wore a custom version of Galia Lahav's Gimaya gown for the ceremony and three different elaborate looks throughout the day. The couple exchanged handwritten vows, and the wedding party included eight bridesmaids and seven groomsmen.
