Jonathan Rodriguez, a father-of-two, died after his son accidentally drove a truck over him while he was cleaning the yard at their home in Santaquin, Utah. The incident also injured the grandmother, who was airlifted to hospital. The day after the tragedy, Jonathan's wife, Daisy Rodriguez, was admitted to hospital with complications, where she discovered she was pregnant with their third child.

The couple, high school sweethearts, already had two sons aged 3 and 5. The family described the pregnancy as Jonathan's "final gift" to his wife. He was remembered as a loving husband and father. A GoFundMe page has been created to help the family.
