A mother in Brazil is claiming that her newborn daughter was decapitated during an emergency C-section. Ranielly Santos and her husband, Victor da Silva, expressed that their daughter's heart was still beating before the procedure and that doctors tried to sew up the girl’s lacerated neck afterward.

The physician, whose name has not been released, allegedly jumped on top of Santos during the procedure and removed the baby's head accidentally. Emanuelly was born with a lung malformation and cysts causing a difficult delivery. The hospital has apologized and offered to cover funeral expenses, but the family has chosen to go to the police for further investigation.
