A school bus carrying 20 children, ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade, briefly went missing in New Jersey after its 80-year-old driver suffered a medical emergency and became disoriented. The school contacted authorities and the bus was found after nearly an hour in a parking lot in Bridgewater and had collided with a parked vehicle.
The driver was transported to a hospital, while the children were examined by a nurse and put on another bus to school with no injuries reported. Parents had the option to pick up their children from school upon their return. Officials expressed their thanks to the responders and officials involved.
