Homeless man who saved baby's life lands job at Applebee's
2023/05/11

Ron Nessman, a California homeless man, has been hired by Applebee's after saving a baby in a stroller from rolling into traffic in a viral video. Nessman noticed the situation as he was leaving an interview with Applebee's and reacted immediately by catching the stroller. The video has reached millions of people, but Nessman was not aware of it until family members told him.

The viral video did not factor into the job offer, according to Emily Canady, the general manager of the restaurant. Nessman is grateful for the opportunity to work and make his own money after being homeless for eight years.
